I'm new...it's my first time here and I've just read your post. I haven't done my exact calculation of my debt yet, but I will do. I know how you feel. Just as you think you are getting in control of things something comes along and knocks you off course.....I have just had a burst pipe and there is water coming through my hall ceiling.....
My only piece of help is check out your local freecycle or freeshare group for things that you need, like your washing machine. They have never let me down. I needed a dance costume for my daughter last week (£30) and someone gave my one. Likewise when my lawnmower packed in.
Hope you get things sorted

Sorry not been around much lately had a lot going on! My positive mood seems to have taken a complete turn since an ex who owes me money has now decided to not pay for 2 months on the run.... depressing to say the least with the prospect of adding what he owes me to my own debt.
Anyway - how are thing? Have you managed to sort anything out?
How was the wedding this weekend just gone? x0 -
A brake light bulb for a vectra should cost no more tha £3 and you should be able to fit it yourself - or get your dad to do it. I do most of my car repairs myself though the tougher ones go to my boyf (Dad unable to anymore
)
Freecycle is great. Advertise for a wanted built in cupboard freezer - you might be surprised if someones changing their kitchen!

do you have enough room to have a freestanding freezer until you can get a cupboard one? Freecycle is your friend.0

Hi sorting it- i am so sorry to hear of your troubles- i was thinking could you possibly speak with the exs parent? they may be mortified at his behaviour and pay it in one go or make his life a misery till he sorts it?
I am still trying to pick myself up. have worked over 70 hours this week and rather tired-be worth it on payday.
Got my £35 from indiefield which i had given up on so im spending that at tesco tonight on my daughters school uniform for september while its on 20% off. I know i should pay it off a debt but im gonna have to buy uniform at some point so will get all together for less.june debt totals:
