Does anyone know when you apply for one, does it have to be in the same name as your passport or not as my passport is old name and I have got married

It may cause issues if you had to use it
After taking someone to the clinic in Tenerife last year, I know they insisted on seeing the card and a passport.0 -
This is a free card and there is no charge for it. Whatever you do, do not pay anything for processing your application etc. There are lots of official looking sites who will try to charge you, so please be aware.
If you go to www.nhs/ehic scroll down until you see apply for a free EHIC card. There is a FAQ section on this site which may answer your question about your name, if not I am sure there will be a number you can contact.0 -
In most countries it is OK for maiden name and married name if you have a copy of your marriage certificate.0
