Why is it that sometimes competition posts i've liked and thanked show up again in the feed in bold blue font? Also sometimes posts I haven't seen before are not in the bold font? It confuses me sometimes and i've had a few occasions where i've entered a comp and it says my address is already registered for the comp.

Like I said I might be being dumb, just thought I'd ask.

It may be that someone has posted something under the first post in the comp that you have thanked and entered, then it will show up in bold blue font again
Quite often a comp will come up again from a site that you may have previously entered that could be why you're already registered. It might be worthwhile making a notebook of all the sites you're registered with so you know your passwords for them, if that makes sense It's not a stupid question at all, we don't know if we don't ask!

Thanks Wingobins, that does make sense. I think I need to start logging what I've entered. That's a good idea. Thanks for your help.

If you click on the green tick icon as well as clicking thanks, you will be able to see at a glance which ones you have entered. Likewise, click on the red cross, if you decide that a particular comp is not for you.

Sorry to come back to this, but i've been checking comps by end date and some of the ones I have entered thanked and ticked in the past are showing up again. They aren't in the bold font but it allows me to green tick them and thank them again. Therefore it's making
it hard to keep track.

Once you thank and tick or cross it shouldn't disappear, are you sure you have entered them before and it's not just a prize that is on a few different websites maybe? DVDs for instance are often listed ten times each perhaps, but are for different websites so you can enter all of them?

That may be the case Mumto2boys, thanks for your reply. That must be the answer as there are so many threads. I think I'm confusing myself.

As long as you tick or cross each one you should find it ok to keep track.

Do you know you can hit the cross from the main page without opening the post, so for me say, I will look at a whole page, straight away hit the cross on the posts for comps I am not interested in like tickets and meals in different parts of the country. That leaves me with a just a few posts per page to actually open and consider entering.

Another thing to bear in mind is if you tick mark the red cross whilst on the main listing, then click into look at a thead, and enter a comp, if you hit the back button on your browser, you need to refresh the page for the red crosses to show up again.
