Delivery times for new Ford Fiesta

Been waiting 14 weeks for a factory order so far. Anyone know if this is unusual ? It's a Titanium auto with satnav and could not be sourced from UK stock. 8-12 weeks was the original estimate.

Highly unusual! It's true that if a car has to be specially ordered it can take 6-10 weeks to be built and 4 weeks for delivery but there are orders already in pipeline that can be amended.

We have a white 1.0 ecoboost manual getting built on 14th June but this can easily be amended into an auto with Sat Nav in a different colour for delivery around the first week in July so about a 7 week wait from today.

It's a 1.6 petrol Titanium Powershift with satnav and reversing camera if that makes any difference. That's the only engine with auto.

Thanks anyway. Apparently I heard only today we will be able to collect the vehicle on 24 or 25 May, 15 weeks after order. I still have no explanation for the delay. It is supposed to be under investigation since they ran close to the time for invoking my cancellation rights.
