Hi,
I've got my first statement now from our 123 credit card. I've got the payments setup so its everything by direct debit, but when does this DD normally happen? I just dont want things to go wrong with paying it.
Crazily it seems i have 3 weeks to pay it!

If it does not say:"Your payment of £xxx will be taken by Direct Debit from your nominated bank account on or after xxx(date)....."
the DD is not in place (yet) and you have to make a manual payment before the 'pay-by' date.0 -
Where would i find this string? I cant find it online.0

Under credit card details it says
"Direct Debit active: Yes"0 -
I do get printed statements, but I presume it's in the same place on-line:
on the Front Page (or top of page):
Account Summary
Your new Balance
Minimum Payment due by....
and the line below:
Direct Debit £xxx to be debited on or immediately after xxx(date)
Hope that helps0 -
it does seem a little too good to be true sometimes, after years of misusing credit cards and getting hammered with interest that i didnt really understand, i now get nearly a whole month of earning interest on my credit card balance and dont get charged for the privilege!
FWIW the one time in the last 13 statements santander took the payment late due to an error, they apologised immediately, refunded the fee and no report was made to the CR agencies.
