tv problem!!

I bought a new Panasonic plasma tv from john levis in feb 2013 but not happy with it.The picture quality aint very good because it seems dark all the time, and have tried to sort settings out but no joy. also I have what they call Dynamic false contouring which is also annoying. What are my rights to either return this tv or request a replacement because im not happy with it.
Thanks:money:

    Almost zero. For two reasons:
    1) If you bought in store, you have no right to return an item because you don't like it - the idea being that you can see it in store beforehand. If you bought online, you do have that right, but must notify the retailer within 7 working days (or up to a month in some circumstances).
    2) If it is a fault with the TV, then as it is three months old, you are outside of the period in which you can reject it for a refund. JL can (and most likely will) offer a repair.

In short - if the thing is faulty, get them to fix it. If it's not, you're stuck with it.

If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

What model is it? Have a look over on avforums.com, you'll get better advice as to what to do to improve the settings etc.
  • It is now may, if you where unhappy when you bought it why did you not take it back after a few days and see rather than waiting this long?

However, John Lewis do tend to be very good with customer service, so why don't you ask them
