I've got a Barclays current account with no overdraft, I had the option to dip into it completely removed after I requested it.
Yesterday I tried to buy some things from Amazon with my debit card, everything but one thing appears to have been paid for, however it appears I didn't have enough money to pay for one item so cancelled it after the payment didn't go through.
Amazon tried to put the payment through twice before I noticed it hadn't gone through.
Will Barclays charge me 2 sets of £8 for the non payment, if so where do they put the charge?
Will I also end up overdrawn and have an additional charge?

If the payment was declined due to lack of funds then no, you won't be charged.0

Thanks for the answer.
I'm usually very organised with my money, but this is not an account I use often. Thought I'd empty it out on Amazon.
Manged to get it down to 1p.
Would have been a bit annoyed if it had cost me money doing it.0
