can i be fined for putting mud on the road off my hgv tyres after coming out of a muudy yard.

    I delivered to a building site outside shrewsbury many moons ago. They wouldnt let you leave the site until they had jetwashed the wheels.

    It was like a mudbath when it rained though. The roads would have been an accident waiting to happen with all that mud.

    Yes, it's an offence and you're causing a hazard to other road users.
