Cheapest place to get euros from today?

Hi
My friend is going away tomorrow so is wanting to get her euros today. Does anyone know the place which will have the best exchange rate or a thread or tool I can use to have a look.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Jules

I find that you more often than not get a better rate in the country you are visiting.

I would phone up the bank and see what charges they issue for using the atm abroad and go from there.

It works out cheaper for me when I go to greece to use my card as the rate is quite a lot better and the atm charges are low.

Travelex is normally about the best I think. They offer a guarantee to have the best rate. Order online and then collect at the airport when you depart.

    Good Point

Travelex as you say are very good and not only that if you join BA exec club you get airmiles for all currency purchased through them.

    :D

You can buy via Travelex and put a claim in under their price guarantee.
Although competitive and certainly the most convienient as you can pick up at the airport, they can be beaten easily. MY GUIDE explains how not to lose out
