Also 2 weeks ago she was enquiring about her tax credits as her working hours had gone down to less than 16 hours, she had been working 2 part time jobs as a dinner lady and had lost one of the jobs and her children are in school, but according to this new thread her mum has been caring for her for the last few months as she has been unable to work .

Because I struggled financially making ends meet even with the extra childcare payment added to the tax credits, I did not notice the extra payment because it was being used up in paying the bills as everytime I fell sick or had time off to look after my children if they were ill, being self employed I did not get paid so the extra payment in my tax credit did not really make any difference as the payments only covered a 1/3rd of childcare bills not the whole lot. With everything else going on in my life and struggling to put food on the table the tax credits did not even cross my mind or I would have rang a lot sooner to let them know the childcare was not working.

Can you make your mind up.......earlier on you said you only used childcare TWICE, yet you got money for it every week, so how can you now say it only covered a 1/3rd of your bills when you didn't have any childcare bills apart from 2 days worth???

I despise liars and thieves....this op has bull****ed from the start...at the beginning she said her children were in childcare because she worked long hard hours, but as one of her other posts states, she works lunchtimes and her children are in school. 2 weeks ago she was worried about loosing the 'forgotten' tax credits as her hours had been reduced to under 16...also her claim of an abusive husband that she split from 3 years ago???. A few months ago she said they split mainly because of finances, but had got back together. Seems like a scam to defraud tax credits, housing benefit etc, also reducing his CSA payments to another women by put a claim in herself and them both pocketing the money.....

......and of course i could be totally wrong and she really is innocent of everything i have accused her of, but i doubt it.

Well today the CAB have spoken to tax credits and along with medical evidence and domestic violence reports and my honesty and hard work over the years working to support my 3 children whilst my estranged husband continues to break the rules and not pay for his children they have decided to write off the overpayment as they have looked through my bank statements and seen how little I was earning and how little I have had to live on raising 3 children.

So Poppy I really hope you NEVER have to go through what I have gone through!!! You say you have suffered depression and anxiety, well obviously not as bad as myself or Domestic Violence! You have not got a clue what I have been through or what my beautiful children have been through or how bloody hard I have worked all my life to bring up my children on my own despite everything I have been through!

To all of you that have been nothing but nasty and hinting that I have tried to con the system, shame on you!!!! I have never claimed benefits all my life and have worked over 50hrs a week for many years! I hope none of you have to ever go through what I have gone through over the years, most people would have committed suicide it they had been in my shoes, but I am proud that I have stayed so strong and managed throughout all the violence I have been through and what my children have witnessed.

To all of you who have posted messages of support, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and wish you all the best of luck and good wishes. x

We haven't hinted - you have admitted to doing it by claiming money for CCC that you haven't actually paid.

I'm amazed you are still keeping up the pretence, despite your earlier posts contradicting what you have said on this one.

I don't believe that you would have an o/p wiped out unless you managed to lie again to Tax credits, however if you have then congratulations on the successful benefit fraud.

It's people like you who fraudulantly claim money you aren't entitled to that are causing the system to change which will penalise many others.

Hmm, they seemed to sort that pretty quickly. Why would they let you keep the money you shouldn't have had in the first place? Oh, i know it can happen, as when tax credits first started they paid me twice, one in my wage, and once in bank!! I kept the money (didn't spend it!) and over a year later they said they overpaid. I had evidence of phone calls, they kept saying it must be right!! my work pay staff etc and i got to the keep the money.

What a nasty bunch some of you are! The reason they have written the amount off is because last year I gave them a figure I expected to be earning for the year so they could work out my tax credits on that but I ended up earning hell of a lot less. They got in contact with the tax office and looked at the tax return my accountant sent in and found that they had underpaid me working tax credits by more then what they paid out in child care.

Yes I split from my husband over 3 years ago because of domestic violence and in December last year he came back into my life begging that he had changed and wanted to be back with me and the children so we started seeing each other again from December through to April, he would come here at weekends but refused to move in. I found it was all lies as he was still with another women but wanted to get items from my house which he stole. When you have been in domestic violent relationships you tend to know no better and trust people and I stupidly thought he had changed and trusted him back into my life for the sake of my children.

How dare any of you said that I have been fraudulently claiming benefits when you dont know the full story! How nasty and low can you get by assuming the worst. Its people like you who are bullies and cheats and cause decent people misery!

Dont bother replying as I am going to request this whole post to be taken off because of the bullying and accusations you are all making which are all lies based on your assumptions!
