gotta love Eon
I bought a house, it had 2 electric meters one for storage heaters the other for normal mains.
I had the place rewired and GCH installed, called eon told them and they provided me with gas and electric.
Once i was settled about 3 months later i decided to move - called co-op (thinking ethically), and the gas was transferred but electric declined. Spoke to eon they said co-op only requested one meter but there are 2. Told the woman that i had told the person i originally spoke to when getting gas and the meter reading bloke that there is now only one meter.
Had an argument and spoke to a manager, he said no problem he will send a bloke out to check there is only 1 meter once confirmed i can request again and job will be a good'en and he will call me back on such a date to confirm.
2 weeks later...no call.
Eventually got it sorted after speaking to another manager and the original manager and then called co-op to transfer electric (this is now well over 4 weeks since the original request.
All is good, im off to co-op...great....
Yesterday i received a call from eon retention people, she asked if there is anything they can do to keep me. I said, im in work at the minute but if you can offer me a good rate then i will come back but can you call me back tomorrow (today).... guess what!
So after all their ....... up's, i give them one last chance and they still mess up!
1 argument, 3 promises, countless calls and a lifetime of their hold music - i have given up on them. they could offer me the moon and i wouldnt believe it.

You have to love them---not.
I was going to stay with them as they were reasonable on cost but I have just had a letter from them to say that they bare kindly going to put bill up by £30 a month. Because of the letter I checked comparison sites and moved to sainsburys. So thanks Eon, you have saved me £470 a year by putting my bills up. Goodbye.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
