Real Deal want me to go on TV!!!!!!

Has anyone else received a call today from Dickinson's Real Deal about going on TV?

I received a call this afternoon about the win I had in January. They'd like me to go to a town near here next Sunday, meet the crew and David Dickinson, and talk about my win on camera :eek::eek:

I've NEVER wanted to be on TV in any way, shape or form. It's something I really hate the thought of. They're going to phone me back tomorrow to give me time to think about it :o

Oh God, I don't know what to do :o
Biggest win: £10,000 from Pepsi

Oh lord, no way I'd be doing it:eek:..and definitely not once I've spent the money. I would give them a poilite no and say exactly what you have just said there unless of course it's in the T&C that you may be required for publicity, in which case I would still try and wriggle out of it. If you have a choice dont be scared to just say No.

Do it....you'll have a great time. They'll make such a fuss of you....when I was on the telly re a really fab win, I had the time of my life and met quite a few famous 'celebrities' who were so kind and put me at my ease....a great experience that I will never forget.Life is for living 'now' it's not a rehearsal...go do it and 'have fun'....you're a long time dead !!!

Personally i'd rather give the money back than go on TV, but it's up to you.
    Good luck :)

I was asked to go on telly last year, on Martins Money Show, when he filmed in Ford Dagenham, it was a great experience even though in the end my piece wasn't used. But I had the great pleasure of meeting Martin in the flesh, so to speak, he is a great bloke.
I'd say do it just for the experience, but that's just me.

bullshot put it best. You'll have a fantastic time, something a lot of people will never get to experience and I think life is all about taking those opportunities and living everything to the full!

Of course if you really really don't want to, you could always say no. But I reckon it would be a great, fun day out and a brilliant experience :D

It's up to you but I personally wouldn't dream of it. I like my anonymity too much I guess.
