45 mins to fill a bath!

Morning

Over the past week or so I have noticed that when running the hot tap in the sink in the bathroom the water is hardly running out, then last night my wife ran a bath which took about 45 mins to fill.

Any idea what this could be?

If it just the bath tap then it is likely that the head gear is damaged or else there is a blockage.

You can see about the head gear here, as long as you have a standard tap- repairing taps

Check the water leval in your storage tank, and check the ballvalve is working also.
If ok then the problem could be the taps(as posted above) or an airlock, provided you haven't a combi boiler.

a combi boiler takes ages to fill the bath.

if you have a cold tank in the loft make sure the outlet to the hot cylinder is not blocked.
(gravity system).

If you live in any area with strong water pressure, it may be the pressure valve - under the sink, with various settings. If unsure, you can always ask a neighbour, as they would have one too.

If not, a combi sounds quite probable.
