Hi,
I m looking for any help to get myself used to with some daily routine sentences for my english communication. I can write and undersatand but need help to improve my spoken side of the language. I m not as fluent as i wnat to be, despite the fact now i m living in Uk for past nearly 4 years now.
Any help to point me to the right website or any other good resource will be much appreciated
Thanks

So you need help with your pronunciation.
Learning English Pronunciation tips:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/multimedia/pron/
http://www.btinternet.com/~ted.power/phono.html
Or you could goto: http://dictionary.cambridge.org/ enter a word into the search box ie: 'Pronunciation' and click on the link 'pronounce (MAKE SOUND)' then on 'show phonetics' and it will give you a breakdown of how to say the word.
Otherwise there is this site: http://www.teachingenglish.org.uk/try/speaktry/speaking_activities.shtml#improvdisc aimed towards teaching english, but it includes some samples of language in mp3 format you may wish to listen too. Or maybe some of the tools at the bottom of this page: http://www.phon.ucl.ac.uk/home/mark/regeng/ or advice here: http://www.soundsofenglish.org/pronunciation/index.htm
Otherwise there's the old, 'watch tv' approach to determine how people speak. Or listen to local radio. Or even better, join a college or some kind of social group and talk to people.
HTHIt could have been worse. At least source code's not combustible, or you can bet somebody at McAfee would have lit it.0 -
