Password security.

Not sure if this has been posted before but it's a handy little program I've been using for some years to keep track of all my passwords, currently around 200 !

It's FREE too. :)

  • I tried out the above Password Safe, but found it too restrictive for my needs.

After searching for and trying a few alternatives, I found KeyNote, an excellent little program for storing all sorts of sensitive data in a free format, and in a tree structure if you need it. All the data can be encrypted and the user interface is excellent with a very effective search facility. It's completely free with no nag screens or restrictions.

Another very good utility is PINS which you can run from a floppy and which can store all your passwords, login info, email settings, banking details, pins etc. etc all encrypted using Blowfish 448 encryption. If your system ever goes wonky at least you have all your important info on floppy and you can access it immediately from any computer.
