First Direct Internet Banking Plus

Internet Banking Plus has stopped working for me. I can sign in, but I can't navigate to my accounts or update the balances.
(This is the account aggregation software that allows you to view all your balances in one place).
Is anyone else having problems, or is it just me?
Windows ran an automatic update this morning, and applied a large number of updates. I suspect this might have caused the problem?

Yep not working for me either when I click update accounts... No changes to settings since last login so must be an issue with First Direct.
Need to login manually...!0 -
That's the sort of issues that made me resort to the native AccountUnity service myself. AU is the underlying technology FD (and YBS) use. AU is working perfectly tonight - though it has been known recently to be offline w/o notice for a couple of days at weekends.
Appears that when the native service is offline, neither Virgin's nor YBS's are working, either.
It's sort of easy to migrate from FD/YBS to the native service but it can be quite work-intensive if you have a lot of accounts.0 -
Same problem here, just called them, they have a server problem.
Do you log in from a shortcut? I have a favourite saved.
Try logging in from the homepage or

It's an issue with one of fd's servers - if you bookmark the site you are bypassing fd's load-balancer (which directs you to the "best" server). From what I can tell, server 1 is not working but 2 is.
Best bet is to access via http://www1.firstdirect.com/1/2/ibp-service which will send you to a working instance.0
