Best Card for this....

Hi,
Im wanting to make 2 separate payments of approx £700. The treatments are expensive enough without having to pay a % on top of that to use the card. I though a 0% card might do it but apparently you still get charged the fee even on a 0% on spends card. First of all is that right if its through a private clinic?, secondly is there anyway I can pay the amounts using a card and not pay the fee or a way of paying a smaller fee?

Hope that makes sense.
Kind regards

There is no fee on a 0% spending card unless you miss a payment or do not repay by the end of the 0% period.

You would have probably got more/faster responses with more info in the subject line.

    What fee is this?

0% cards don't charge fees when you buy things. Neither does any card (unless it's abroad or a cash advance transaction like gambling), so not sure where you got that from.

If you mean that the clinic are charging you a fee for using a credit card then it's nothing to do with what type of credit card you have, but a fee for the clinic. The clinic can charge for CC if they want (as long as it's a reasonable fee). If this is the case, you can avoid the fee by paying with a debit card or bank transfer.
