Problem registering with My Hermes

Can't find anywhere else to post this, but I have just spent over 30 minutes attempting - unsuccessfully - to register with the My Hermes courier company. What a way to run a business. Every time I opted for my parcels to be collected from my local collection point, I was given an information pop-up showing the local pick-up points. However, when I returned to the registration page, the pick-up option had re-set, meaning that I had no choice but to select my option again. When I rang the 0871 help number (10p a minute) I was put on hold for ages and finally gave up. I sent them an email, outlining the problem and received an automated reply saying they would get back to me in the next two days! I find it difficult to believe that My Hermes consider this acceptable.
Can anyone recommend a decent courier service?
Cheers.

I use Collect+ who are similar to Hermes though I've heard they are also OK.
Pick up at home or drop into a local shop.
You buy your postage on-line and you can also tie into Ebay to save time.
I like.
I'm not connected in any way and if the service was cr## I would say so.
I think you will find that you should first identify the most convenient drop-off and just keep that in mind. It matters not which drop-off you use- you pay shipping and deposit the goods.

Many thanks, Lancastrian, for your helpful reply. I eventually finished up going to the post office. Ironically, this is directly opposite the My Hermes pick-up shop. Will now take a look at Collect +:)
