Women of a certain age need to be treated with kid gloves.
How old was Thatch at her height of power?
Don kelvar helmet and body armour and await incoming bombardment, for sexism, rants.
I am far more concerned about the fact that Dianne Abbott is the best person Labour can rustle up to be shadow health secretary. Her use of the word demented doesn't concern me at all (at least in relative terms).0 -
Dictionary.com for retardSlang: Disparaging. a. a mentally !!!!!! person.
b. a person who is stupid, obtuse, or ineffective in some way: a hopeless social retard.
So the OP suggests that he can not understand why someone who leaves an employment prior to a rendundacy payment being made to employees should expect to get the redundancy payment as it would appear to be common sense that a rendundancy payment would only go to those who are made redundant. He also suggests that to him this is so self-evidnet that if he is wrong he must lack a basic level of understanding such as that suffered by someone who is stupid or obtuse.
Who is insulted here?I think....0 -

How could I forget Andy Burnham. Labour's front bench are so difficult to forget as they all are so charismatic*.
*As some people find it difficult to detect sarcasm on this forum, I just wanted to clarify that this statement is me being sarcastic. I think the entire Labour party front bench have the charisma of a damp squib. That is not to say the Tories are oozing in it, although they do have marginally more - maybe likened to that of a slightly moist squib.0 -

I find the word 'shadow' offensive when used to describe Dianne Abbot 'In nature, there are neither rewards nor punishments - there are Consequences.'0 -
