    my newly discovered step daughter, its a bit complicated

    I'm no expert, heck I'm not even a parent, but as a 25 year old, I'd like to say that I learned a lot by having to pay something living at home! Admitedly it was just the cost of the Sky subscription and internet, but it gave me responsibility. If I wasn't in a position to do that (and sometimes I wasn't) then I'd also make sure to 'earn my keep' with cooking and cleaning.
