Either provide more evidence it was unecessary, such as good sick pay, work benefits, and alternatve source of income or savings to pay off debt, or refer it to the FOS,

I've just received my payout from my Halifax credit card, which was initially refused. I called them to say that I disagreed with the decision, a few days later they called me back & asked for more evidence on why I thought it was missold, basically told them about savings/employer sickness & redundancy benefits & they upheld my claim. It did take about 8 months from start to finish :j
  • The basis of the complaint was that was no told ppi was optional. They have said they " are aware your cca clearly demonstrated that ppi was optional and i have concluded the the adviser did not mislead you in any way". They have not provided any evidence. whats the next step. go back to halifax or fos?
