i love my dog but...

I have my mother coming to stay. I started off this morning as a whirlwind of clean bedding, bleach and febreeze.

I wasn't going to wash the dog's bedding, and I was not terribly impressed to come downstairs to find he had been sick in his crate, in his water bowl and bed.

I guess he thought it needed a wash after all..... :rotfl:

you and me both - 2 lots last night, another 2 this morning, 1 in her bed. I can still hear her stomach churning - poor thing. She used to be sick a lot but now not so often - thankfully but yes when she s she really is!!

They don't do things by half so they?

Just before last Christmas I was run ragged. Minding all 3 grandsons while their mums were at work and trying to get finished in the house for Christmas. At least, I congratulated myself, I'd cleaned the carpet the night before so it looked lovely and fresh.

Then came the cry..."Nan! The dog's been sick on the carpet...!"
  • Yeah, there's something about a clean floor that seems to compel them to leave their mark on it, if it's not sick it's a good old bottom scoot...

Mine is quite a sicky mutt at the best of times, but come spring/ summer, he grazes on so much grass that it's like taking a sheep for a walk

I think he just genuinely likes the taste of it, as he's quite selective about what grass he will eat, only the thickest, greenest, juiciest grass will do.

A couple of years ago, I bought a new settee. A couple of months later, i came home to find the biggest pile of regurgitated grass across two of the cushions. despite them being 'washable' covers, they have never looked the same since...

Good job I love the sicky, smelly, hairy thing!
