Applied for Gold charge card last Wed. Was referred in both senses - referrer got his points on Friday and got approval email on Saturday. I know they say it can take 7-10 days for the card to arrive but is it likely to be any faster than that?

Mine came within the first week - approved on the 27th april, received card on the 3rd May0

I'd probably expect it this week, came pretty quick when I got mine. Good thing about Amex is that you don't have to wait for a separate PIN, you can view it online once you have the card.0
