Will I be accepted for an Aqua card?

in Credit cards
I got myself into debt years ago with my ex partner (mainly catalogue debt). I am trying to rebuild my credit rating and got a vanquis card last year which I have kept full payment on, I also have 2 lower end catalogues which I pay regularly.
I am not employed at present as I am looking after my disabled child and partner and my other children. I applied for an aqua card yesterday to help better my credit rating and I got a message saying thanks its being processed you'll hear from us shortly. Does this mean its been accepted or not?
I applied last year before my vanquis card and was turned down but straight away so does this message mean I may be accepted?

You may be accepted and you may not. They may want some ID.0

It can mean that they may need other information from yourself, no-one can really know for certain.
But if you just want to purely build your credit rating, concentrate on what you have (Vanquis and the 2 lower-end catalogues) use them responsibly then and well, then see if you can apply for a better card (Barclaycard Initial, Capital One etc)0
