Switching

My BG contract ends 1.6.13 and I want to switch suppliers. Do I have to wait until that date, or can I start the process before? BG says that I will be charged a fee if I switch before 1.6.13.

    As it's now the 15th it is quite safe to start your switch now .

    Typical switch takes 4-5 weeks.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    You actually switch when someone else takes over the supply not when you start the process of switching so you should be more than safe starting it now.
