Reapplying for a Credit Card

Hi,
I recently made an application for an ASDA credit card, which was turned down. On checking my credit score I had a perfect score, but found that I was not registered on the electoral roll, despite having sent the forms in after we moved into our current address.
I plan to resubmit my electoral roll form and was wondering whether I could then just reapply for the card online, or if it would be best to speak to someone in person to explain the circumstances?
Cheers
Andy.

Most lenders don't like to see you applying to them more than once every 6 months. You could give them a call and explain, but do bear in mind that electoral roll data will take some time to show up with credit reference agencies. Being on the electoral roll is pretty much the most important criteria for lenders - if you aren't seen as on it they have little proof of where to reach you.
I'd recommend holding off for now. Let 6 months pass since your original application - by then your electoral roll data should long be on your report. You will stand much better chances then.0 -
Many people still get Approved for credit cards etc without being on the ER but to stand a better chance make sure you on it by checking your credit files on all 3 CRAs before you decide to apply."You know when it's cold outside when you go outside and it's cold"0
