Scottish and Southern electric have just refunded me 345 great british pounds as they gave me misleading information on how much money they could save me in my first year of being with them, :beer:

well done, I am currently trying to sort out my miss selling claim with them. I had a call a couple of days ago to say they had no case to answer! I know they have as I have all my documentation etc and had complained even before they were fined.
Can I ask you how did they handle your claim, did they agree from the outset or did you have to send proof of calculations etc

Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me

OP has not replied so anyone else with a success story reclaiming miss sold energy from SSE?

I wrote them with details of bills/dd since I joined them in July last year, they called me and asked what the prices and tariff I was on with n power, they called me back at an arranged time, and I had a further call weeks 2 weeks later and my acc was credited with what I had overpaid plus 10%. Very fair outcome and excellent customer service all throughout.

thanks luvchocolate for your response. They called me to say that they owe me nothing without asking me for the previous supplier information which I have. I am in the early stages of the process but will carry on as I have definitely been miss sold
