Santander current account old information needed

I have a santander current account which I have held for 10 years. Can anyone advise how I can get hold of old direct debit information from 2004?

    Your copies of bank statements.
  • Unless you have a copy of the statements yourself then the only way will be to ask Santander but I doubt they will hold information that old.
  • I don't have bank statements thats why I was asking!! I just wondered could I send a SAR for a bank account like i have for loans?

    Have you rung and asked?
    If the account is still active then they may still be held on the system.

    Would be a lot cheaper & quicker than putting in a SAR request to find that they don't keep info after 6 years.

    Spanish for 2004.
  • I assume this is for a PPI claim? If so, you might be cutting it fine as I believe that Santander only took over from Abbey in 2004 - anything before that will likely be difficult to retrieve.
