halifax credit card unsure if ppi was paid.

i had a halifax credit card from august 2003 to august 2009. i do not have any of the original statements so how do i check if i had a ppi when i settled the account. thank you for your help.:j

Phone and ask, if they can't tell you, send a cheque for £10 and a SAR - see the front page sticky.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Phone and ask - if they're useless DON'T send the £10 but go into a branch and ask them - worked for me. The branches seem more competent than the call centre - then if you're still not sure download (google is your friend) and apply for the ppi back with the details you do have - they'll find your account or tell you to sod ....save the £10 sending as a complete last resort.Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
