Bloomex - Late Delivery of Flowers

I ordered flowers from Bloomex Australia (For my mother in Law for Mother's day - which was sunday 12th May in Australia) and they were not delivered until today
That is 2 days late - they had sent an e-mail saying Mothers day deliveries in rural areas may be delayed for 1 day and upgraded flowers would be sent - but my in-laws live in a Melbourne Suburb, not exactly rural and my MIL was not contacted on sunday regarding the delivery like the e-mail said she would be.
I e-mailed the company and all I have been offered is 15% of the next order. (If I do use them again it definately won't be on a busy time of the year)
Raging - it's not good customer service to delivery Mother's flowers on the Tuesday after Mother's day.
Its difficult to know what florists in Oz are good and which aren't as we obviously never see the flowers - so any recommendations for a relaibel florist to use in the future for deliveries of reasonably priced floweres around Melbourne would be great!

Try doing a google search for a florist local to your Mother in Law's area, and click through to their website to see if they are an actual shop and not an order gatherer - they will appreciate the business and you will get brownie points for sending a better bouquet and on time

I have managed to get an $11 refund (postage costs) via an official complaint.
(Although it has took over a week for a reply - customer service is not good but a good result at least)Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0
