BTHub + Vista + XP. Share/move files between - help needed

Hi

I've a laptop with Vista Home; I've a PC with XP Pro. I have a BT Hub. Both connect wirelessly to the hub.

Neither have ever been used on a home network before.

I have files on a card that only fits into the laptop - and I want those files on the PC. I don't want to upload the files to dropbox, then back down again, as I have a limited (10GB/month) broadband service.

How do I, step by step, enable the file sharing on Vista and XP so I can just drag these files between the two?

Thx.

Cheers... trying to work through it, but some of the options needed aren't present on my laptop. I am at the point where it says "The Computer Management screen opens up and you want to expand Local Users and Groups, then the Users folder." but there is no Local Users and Groups in there.

I think I shouldn't have skipped the first instruction on the page ... but that looked like it was launching into "No password", so I skimmed down. I think I have to start with the first image, which wasn't clear at first.

Oh ... looks like they can see each other and I can do it without doing anything else.... off to create a folder and see what happens when I drag.

That worked..... all 302 photos are now transferred to my PC.

Thanks for your help - even though I didn't end up using it, I appreciate the time you took to respond.
