Skechers Shape Ups Returns - settlement

Hi there,
I noticed today on the news that Skechers Shape Ups have basically been found to be useless, and have some sort of law settlement going on. It is stated on the website and in many papers that they are refunding anyone who bought the shoes that are listed on their settlement page. However, the site only lists information for how American customers can get their money back.
Does anyone have any idea how English customers can get their money back, or if not, which sort of trading standards place I would need to speak to in order to get my money back? It seems ridiculous to me that I can't find help for international customers! Thank you to everyone in advance for their help

Where did you buy them from?0

It's a similar scenario to Apple and their power adaptors - they're replacing them FOC for US customers, but elsewhere Apple are deeming that there is no problem. (There was a thread on this recently).
I suspect Sketchers are taking the same stance here.0 -
There was a class action suit taken against Skechers in the US, that action doesn't apply to the UK. The site clearly says the shoes had to be bought in the US.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

I can't believe anyone actually believed that they WOULD work ! I have a pair, they're fantastically comfortable and easy to walk in, but i never bought them thinking " wow, these will change my shape !" Some people are very gullible !0

I must be the most gullible in the land! Thank you all for the info, I must have completely missed the part about it only being for US citizens! How annoying, mine were £80!
Thank you all0
