in Credit cards
Hi,
I just got accepted for an Egg money card, but I am a bit confused.
1) The card is still in postal, just wonder is it a master or a visa card.
2) It say I am given 500 pounds credit limit, but on their web site, it say I have to deposit the money into the card before I can spend it, what does the credit limit do then? Like overdraft?
3) Does the cash back 1% available to only the things i brought with my deposit money or both deposit and "overdraft"?

Hi
1) It is a Mastercard
2) You do not have to deposit any money of you do not want to - it will work exactly like a normal credit card with a £500 limit. The pre-loading thing is just an excuse to give you a ridiculously low limit so you don't get a chance to use their 56 day interest free period.
3) cash back is on everything you buy, whether your card has a positive or negative balance.0 -
Thanks for your quick respond!
I indeed have a very low limit... £5000
