    You and your father lived with granny who had bought the house with a mortgage?

    Granny died and left the house to Aunty but Aunty could not take over the mortgage? Aunty was the executor of the will as well as a beneficiary?

    The house was valued and presumably you paid the asking price - this money was then used to pay off the old mortgage with any balance to the beneficiary?

    You are now the sole owner? Did your mortgage company not require any adult living in the house with you to disclaim any interest or right to live in the property?

    If you are the sole owner presumably you could sell and use your equity as the deposit on another property?

    Father would have to rent privately or from the local authority, presumably with the help of Housing Benefit?

    I do not think it is clear whether the OP paid the valuation price or just got a mortgage to cover the deficit?

    Or even if he has sole ownership?

    OP - you would need to apply to the Courts for the CCJ to be set aside.

    The Form you need is Form N244, available from the local Courts office or online. There is a fee payable (80 quid) but you may qualify for help with Court fees as you say you are on low incomes.

    As others have suggested, contact the free debt-related helpline for guidance on this, or most solicitors will offer a free ( or fixed fee) 20-30 min appt.

    Do you now make regular checks on your records as held by Experian, Callcredit and Equifax?
