Will I fail Credit History check for JAF(Peugeot)

Hi all,
I am thinking about getting Just Add Fuel deal with Peugeot, but I am a bit afraid that I will fail the Credit Check as when I've applied for Halifax Clarity Credit Card they turned me down twice for some reason
I have a bank account in England for 7 years now, for all 7 years I have been working full time and had my money in and out all the time.
I also have:
Capital One credit card for about 2-3 years now
Barclays Credit card for 1 year
Tesco one for 1 year as well.
For all 7 years I had mobile contract(paid by direct debit), I also have car insurance for 3 years now(direct debit).
I have never even missed a single payment so I don't really understand why Halifax online system has turned me down, there is only one thing I can think of, is that I own £2000 on Barclays credit card, paying them £100 a month.
Can that be the reason why Halifax said no to me?
Can that fail Credit History Check with Peugeot?

BTW is there a deposit to pay for JAF with Peugeot ( 208 model )
and
do they do 5 door 208 on JAF?
does anyone know?

Why not get an experion, or other, credit check yourself to see what the problem is, if its an error, and maybe correct it.

Just get the statutory report. Dont get the credit score rubbish.

I earn 16k, I have 3 credit cards and no loans

the reason I am asking because I can give them £2000 back but prefer to pay out little by little as it's a bit too much to pay in one go, but if that will stand in the way of me getting the car from Peugeot I'll do it:mad:
