Rights regarding product warranty

Hi everyone,

Some advise please. I'm looking to get my hubby a particular set of hair clippers for his birthday. Now the ones I want to get him are £60 in shops but I've found an Ebay seller who are selling them as "new other" for £31.

Now in the blurb it says...
Please note this product is an official factory graded item:
The item will arrive in its original packaging and will come complete as if brought from the high street. The box may have slight damage as a result of handling and transport.
The item itself has been through a rigorous testing process, refurbished and a hygienic cleaning regime. Due to this process the item may have sight cosmetic damage ie. a little scratch or small blemish.
These products are in excellent condition and we are sure you will be 100% happy with your item!
Should this not be the case, we will gladly take returns. Please let us know as soon as you receive the item as returns for unwanted items will not be accepted after 7 days. Returned exclude our postage and packaging costs.
Any item returned and found to be faulty will gladly get a replacement product or a full refund including postage! We offer a 4 month guarantee so theres no need to worry about a thing!

So this 4 month guarantee, as it's a factory graded item does it mean you don't get a 1 years manufacturer guarantee or should the 4 months from the seller be as well as? I'm a bit confused.

Any advise please?

You don't get the manufacturer guarantee as you aren't the original purchaser.

You will only have 4 months of guarantee.
