Its in the Daily Mail so it must be true:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2324102/RICHARD-KAY-Dragons-Den-Bannatyne-122million-debt.html
He's having to pay his ex £1000 a day, his companies are in tatters and the banks are rinsing him for every penny.
There's nothing I enjoy more than the sense of schadenfreude at seeing someone more successful than me fail miserably AND I KNOW I'M NOT ALONE.

The Bannatynes, earlier this week
He says this is all separate to his Dragon's Den investments, which cant total that many as I never saw him do anything than say "I'm out" in a grumpy voice.

The article also says however his fortune has plummeted to £85 million.
I would take that kind of skint any day of the week lol.
Schadenfreude seems a little harsh seeing as how he employs many thousands of people, and if his businesses collapse that they become unemployed. But hey ho, each to their own

Are you Graham's dad?0 -
But the father-of-six, a popular figure on the BBC show, remains optimistic.
...and that's why he will overcome his problems and ALWAYS be more succesful then some envy-ridden boomer-hating loser on MSE.0 -

Because he has 6 children, is bankrolled by the state funded BBC, and has debts that outweigh his assets by some considerable margin?
I'll remember that next time you are whining about single mothers and people using child benefit.0 -

I very much doubt he is bankrolled by the BBC.
I would be surprised if his contract adds up to much relative to his other "income" streams."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

No - nothing to do with him. It is after all a somewhat large county...
I notice though that that is the third time you have made the same pointless reply to one of my responses.
Sad really....0 -

I wonder if that's also why he & his wife split up.0 -
That's what annoys me about the way they value people:Two years ago he was the richest businessman on Dragons’ Den, with an estimated fortune of £430million that put him comfortably among Britain’s top 1,000 earners and with a string of hopefuls begging him to invest in their ideas.
But now not only has Duncan Bannatyne plummeted out of the Rich List altogether, he will have to use all of his Scottish charm to try to seek finance to pay off debts of up to £122 million.

I wondered how successful a chain of health spas in a recession was really going to be.
Still, I bet he's an approachable and understanding boss who nurtures his staff to achieve their full potential.0 -
