I Have been with Sky broadband for nine months and still can't get the wireless to work between my desktop/laptop. Does anyone know if the subject router, mentioned recently in Martin's Money, will be compatable with Sky's Netgear wireless router and it will solve my problem? Both my PC and laptop have wireless cards installed.
Will be grateful for any help.

what's the problem with your netgear router? 2 routers isn't going to solve it, not sure what the subject router is?

skyEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
If your problem is range then you'll need to locate the router at a better position, as high as possible, away from large metal objects and other electronic appliances. If you suspect external channel interference use Netstumbler to see what channels are occupied and set your router channel as far away as possible from them.
The TalkTalk 54G modem/router is not exclusive to TalkTalk and can be used with other ISP's, however it will probably suffer from the same problems you already have with the Netgear.0 -

Free Sky broadband. Email doesn't work and can't get into their portal, internets OK though - If somethings too good to be true, etc etc.0
