Just wondering if the fact my bf removed a radiator and put it back on yesterday for decorating could be the reason why the boiler is flashing red and not heating the water?

We really can't afford to get someone out to it right now for varouis reasons. :(

So was wondering if this was a cause so he could look into taking it off again and trying to sort it or idk...

Was put back on last night and hot water/boiler was tried this morning and it didnt work. Havn't even tried putting the heating on but isnt needed anyway as we don't use it this time of year.

Presumably this is a combi boiler.

If so, have you repressurised the system properly? It should be reading between 1 and 1.5 bar.

Combi boiler taking to mean its both heating and water then yes.

I think I know what you mean and its reading at zero on the front of the boiler...

I'm not sure what he did tbh and he isn't here to quiz him on it but I doubt it has been done properly... I did[STRIKE] tell him [/STRIKE] ask him nicely not to do it but he is stubborn -.-

In which case you need to repressurise the system. You'll need to identify the filling loop, open up the two valves and run water in until the dial reads around 1.
Suggest you google your boiler for details.
If this is successful run the heating for a while and check the rplaced radiator heats up, if not it may need bleeding.
Its possible that you may have to run more water in afterwards.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
