Old National Savings account

:hello:

I have an old National Savings (Post Office) account, unused since 1995, with the princely sum of £7.11 in it. :money:

I've been told that these accounts are no longer in existence. Can anyone tell me what steps I have to take to reclaim the money?

Thanks for any help.

MBE :D
If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Give them a ring (contact details on their website) and ask.

My granddad recently found some old savings certificates from the 1940s and sent them in and got his money so I'm sure your 1995 account won't be a problem!
