Christmas in the UK (Self Catering Lodge)

We are thinking of having a break over Christmas/New Year.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Has anyone booked and then been affected by adverse weather?

Budget is £1000 max - Hi Spec lodge with either sauna/hot tub. Min 3 bed.

We are located in the North West, so were looking at the top half of the UK is poss.

Lovely atmosphere in the valley over Christmas and New Year, and the weather can be quite mild at that time of year.

Try here, lovely lodges, when we stayed here there was a sauna onsite, not sure if there still is, located just outside beauly, inverness.
