    But this is my point, atush:

    We don't know what that future tax rate will be, and neither will the OP- but the OP may have a better view of it than we do.

    To provide information, and a path of action, which doesn't point out the implications of that future tax rate will potentially put the OP into a worse position than they would be in if they did something different. It's an important consideration that hadn't been mentioned.

    I'm not trying to dissuade the OP from using that tax position, but the OP should have all the relevant factors before making his/her decision.

    The pension/creditors safety is a good point, which you're right should be considered.
