I may blow my top

Anyone have days when the just could explode ?

I'm going to let my husband return all eBay messages today because I can't trust myself not to be rude .
I've had three messages today from buyers who paid Friday where's my item !
One item from middle of last week with three to five days delivery where's my item (I've given him full tracking details )

Think I'm just in a grump mood

Don't let them get to you.

Ebay, just like the rest of the world, has its share of daft morons. :D

    Just reply politely.

I agree- I had sent a polite message to a buyer saying her item may be delayed due to courier problems and she replied today saying " what did I expect her to do- send out a serach party!" I was only going to give her money back!
  • I've got an item listed at £5 opening bid or £12.50 B.I.N.

    Postage is £2.60

Message from a 'pleb' in Portugal yesterday...

Hello, my offer is £5 with free postage. Miguel.

Obviously, I pointed out that no overseas postage was offered on this item (and if it were, it would cost £7.85) also that I wasn't accepting offers on this listing anyway.

He responded with a garbled message basically stating that it had been listed and relisted a few times, I should accept his offer as it was obviously all I were getting...

I welcomed him to my blocked bidder list and wished him luck in the crayon eating completion later on... I really don't like adding people to my blocked bidder list, but when they are as stupid as him, you've got to really haven't you...?

A few years ago I listed something on ebay worth around £200. Started it at something stupid like £10.

I had one person offer me £100 to end it there and then and another offer me £80 to end it as he was clearly the only one who would bid and I was going to make no money etc (it had plenty of watchers)..

I responded politely to the first but the second one I just ignored. If memory serves he might of messaged me again but I can't be sure. Anyway it eventually went for £180 which was around £40 profit after my petrol costs when I bought it.

There really are some inconsiderate morons on ebay who think they can force you to sell them something cheap.

In the antique centre where I have units, a dealer is leaving and has put up a sign saying reasonable offers considered.

One customer brought something to the counter which was reduced from £22 to £15 and offered £4 !!! So it's not just on eBay

You have to admire some buyers though really; how they manage to type in their vegetative state is beyond me.
