Insurance claim, paint on house from neighbour...

Hi
We live next door to a hand car wash, it has just been re-painted & they painted the fence which backs onto our 6ft fence that seperates us.
The trouble is the paint has come through - they must have just like a spray gun, & its on my white guttering, was all over my washing, all down side of house, on our garage & down most of the fence panels. Although this is hit & miss its still not ideal!
My partner went round & asked very nicely for them to come clean it off the guttering... that was three weeks ago!
Im wondering what to do next, someone said I can claim on my house insurance through there public liability?
Any advice would be much apreciated.
Thanks

Claim on your house insurance and let the insurance company chase your neighbours. While they are doing this put your feet up and have a nice cup of tea.0

Or ask them for the details of their public liability cert, report them to the HSE for this incident. They are obviously failing under the HASAW act.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0

Take some photographs of the damage, [and date them } in case insurance becomes a problem, and you end up in the small claims court.0
