Giving notice to my Letting Agent

Time to serve notice on my letting agent as I've been offered a better service with a lower fee elsewhere. I believe I 'own' the tenants so plan on keeping them and porting them and my properties to the new managing agents. Does anyone know where I can find a templated letter serving notice by a Landlord to a letting agent? Thanks

Check your contract carefully. It is not enough to 'believe' if there is actually a clause which gives the LA rights in respect of tenants he has found.
On the whole to be safe, unless you have an issue where the current LA is in breach of contract, it is probably wiser to move properties to the new agent as and when tenants move on.You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -
Agree, check your contract.
Plus, check the notice period.
Plus, advise your tenants of the change of letting agents and their contact details.
Plus, if the deposits are held in an insurance based scheme (ie the letting agents are holding it) make sure the letting agents transfer the deposit to the new letting agent.0
