Term Time Holiday

I don't agree. It's nice to be invited to a wedding, but not compulsory to attend. If the wedding is on a school day, or during term-time if travelling is involved, and you have school age children the 'happy couple' must be aware that it may not be possible for them to attend. The same as if they invite someone who works in a school, or has any job where they cannot choose when to take their holiday days, they must understand that that person may not be able to attend, as much as they might like to.That's a shame. Family weddings are important, and you can't control when they are booked for. Funerals and final goodbyes are important too. I think I'd consider home-schooling if something important like that was refused.
If that person/those children are really important to the couple/the wedding then they shouldn't book the wedding at a time they know people who are important to them can't attend.Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0
