Car Park Solutions fine, Dereham

This relates to the now famous (it appears) site of the One Stop on Norwich Road, Dereham.
I admit I did park there, and use the shop and didn't see the signs.
Didn't pay the fine originally, or appeal it either.
Have subsequently had a lovely letter from Roxburghe debt collectors upping the amount to £184.00, and a letter from Graham White solicitors asking me to pay the £184.00, with guidance of costs if they are instructed to take it legal (of £207.25).
All posts in the previous thread have said do not pay CPS a penny, and as such I haven't yet.
I don't like getting a letter from a solicitor however, and require either some advice on what to do, or reassurance that this is nothing but a bluff from CPS Ltd, as they have no basis to take it legal.
Any help gratefully received.
Regards,
Dan

The solicitors letters are a bluff by Roxburghe - they send them. Not some actual solicitor in an office - there is no referral outside of Roxburghe's call centre. Look:

It's just another letter in their chain of rubbish designed to scare victims who are too daft, naïve, or ill-informed to realise it's all a scam.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
