Missing / Bouncing E Mail

Options
I'm using Firefox, Thunderbird, NtL Broadband and XP. A few people have told me that their E mails to me keep bouncing back and 2 hotels I've E Mailed for accomodation haven't replied, which is unusual, or maybe they have and they've bounced back. Yet I am getting mail, so some mail is getting through.
Any one help?
Thanks

Have you got an AOL email address? I'm not getting messages delivered to people in my address book with AOL addresses. It did work before but doesn't at the moment.

no, I did have years ago but not now its an NTL address. I've tried bypassing Thunderbird and using NTL Mail. I've also logged on at work and its the same.

When e-mail is bounced it should normally have either a brief explanation or an error code. To trace the problem you need to ask any of your friend(s) to forward to you those bounced messages (the more the better), preferably using different e-mail address, and find out what that code (or description) is. From there the problem can be analysed further.

Could be a DNS problem. Is there a pattern to the email addresses that are having the problem... ie all on the same ISP

I would've suspected a misconfigured SPF, but without those error codes it would just be a guess.
