LTSB AMEX? Building history..

Apart from building your general credit score with the credit card, does having the AMEX avios duo actually have any direct link with the amex themselves? As in do they view you as a amex customer just like having a normal amex card and can you build a relationship with them for future purposes for lets say a gold amex card.

The lloyds amex avios duo does have the 'member since' but would like clarification

This person is correct, although you can access most of the American Express offers that are designed for Amex card holders.

You won't hold an account with Amex itself but that shouldn't be an issue. If you are accepted for the Lloyds Duo cards then it's likely that your credit is good enough to be accepted for an Amex Gold anyway. Lloyds aren't the easiest cards to get.
