Black horse have written to say that I took out a loan in 2006 (I did)
They say they have concerns that I was miss sold ppi, they say as I refinanced my loan, I may have been disadvantaged as a result. They have enclosed a questionnaire for me to complete and return.
Anybody had a similar experience or should I bin the letter? I took out PPI at the time as I was a bit numb and thought they wouldn't give me the loan if I didn't. Daft really as I was a civil servant who could (if I'd needed to) been covered for full sick pay for quite some time.
Many thanks for any ideas...

I got the same letter a few months back. I returned the questionnaire and several weeks later got a reply saying they owed me over £2000! The cheque followed fairly quickly so I would say go for it - nothing to lose!0

Don't bin it! I had a letter from Nationwide a few weeks ago saying the same thing and I had no intention of claiming PPI as I wanted it. However I sent the form back as they had mis-sold on single premium (one single payment covering both loan and PPI instead of two separate payments) and rolled over onto a further consolidated loan - and they are paying out over £800 and refinancing my loan! It didn't even cost me a stamp as they sent a pre-paid envelope.0
